Gran Turismo is one of the primordial sagas of Sony and this since the 90s: the arrival of the next numbered opus is likely to make a lot of noise and besides, Sony begins to really put the package on the communication. After a whole generation occupied by Gran Turismo Sport, episode turned towards multiplayer to the detriment of the single player aspect, Polyphony Digital is preparing to deliver a real homecoming with Gran Turismo 7: the firm has just announced the return of an iconic circuit from the saga, undoubtedly history of playing on the nostalgic fiber.
This is the Daytona International Speedway, which first appeared in 2007 fifteen years ago (outch) in Gran Turismo 5 Prologue at the very beginning of the PS3 era. A circuit that will be repeated in Gran Turismo 5 then in Gran Turismo 6, but not in Gran Turismo Sport. So we haven’t seen it since… 2013.
Located in Daytona Beach, Florida in the United States of America, the Daytona International Speedway has two variations: the Daytona Superspeedway, recognizable by its deliberately oval shape with slight (but real) angles and the Daytona Road Course, which takes up much of the layout, but implementing a series of sharp turns at a precise moment. Enough to bring back some memories full of adrenaline.

The Daytona International Speedway is thus added to a long list already confirmed by Sony: at least 90 circuits will be present on the launch day of Gran Turismo 7, among which mythical environments such as the Suzuka Circuit, the Tokyo Expressway, the Tsukuba Circuit, the Trial Mountain Circuit, the Circuit de la Sarthe, the Nürburgring or the Deep Forest Raceway. There should be plenty to do.
Add to that a list of more than 400 diverse and varied vehicles, a single player mode as big as the displacement of a Pagani and the return of all the adored sides of the career and you get a very interesting cocktail for all car enthusiasts. Moreover, we have compiled all the information you need to know in our article, right here.
Remember that Gran Turismo 7 will be released on March 4 for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. The appointment is made.
