Presented as a sort of alternative rereading of the very first Final Fantasy, Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin is an action-RPG developed by Team Ninja, known for the Dead or Alive, Ninja Gaiden and Nioh sagas. With a release date set for March 18, 2024 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series, the title is regularly talked about. Last week, we were able to see more about the different playable classes and the possible combos.
Yesterday, Square Enix posted a tweet that drew strong reactions. The publisher indicates that pre-ordering the Digital Deluxe edition will allow you to receive three additional missions … and that the missions in question “will not be available separately”. In other words, it will absolutely be necessary to pre-order this edition sold at € 99.99 to obtain these missions, thus leaving aside those who have purchased a physical version. Fortunately, that really won’t be the case.

Indeed, the three missions mentioned in Square Enix’s tweet are actually those of the Season Pass. Baptized in French “The test of Bahamut, the king of the dragons”, “Gilgamesh, the vagabond of the dimensions” and “DIFFERENT FUTURE”, they will land after the release of the game. And as we can read on the Playstation store and the Microsoft Store, Season Pass content will be available separately for purchase in the future, at an unknown price at the moment.
