Rather used to offering quality mid-range, Realme has probably decided to move up a gear in 2023. The Chinese manufacturer had already teased its GT 2 Pro at the end of last year, but this one is now official. In the program, a 6.7-inch AMOLED display displaying a definition of 1440 x 3216 pixels, and a brightness that goes up to 1400 nits. Equipped with LTPO panel, the smartphone displays an adaptive refresh rate ranging from 1 to 120 Hz : a proposition found on top-of-the-range models of competing brands, and which therefore announces the color.
The rest of the celebrations are inside, with, in particular, the presence ofa Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. This next-generation SoC is expected to power many powerful smartphones in 2023, and the realme GT2 Pro can claim to be one of them.
The terminal is available in versions with 8 or 12 GB of RAM, but also of 128, 256, or 512 GB of UFS 3.1 storage space. A battery of 5000 mAh is also announced, with a 65W fast charge allowing to change the autonomy shutter, by fully recharging the device for 33 minutes. Two speakers are also present. Everything is locked in a shell designed in bio-based polymer, which gives this smartphone an eco-friendly touch.
Finally, it is impossible not to mention the photo part, which is one of those that most interests smartphone users. In back, a triple sensor of 50 + 8 + 2 megapixels is there, with optical stabilizer. For selfies, it’s a 16 megapixel sensor which is installed in the front.
All the specifications are interesting, but they are even more interesting when you look at the prices in China: the model with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage space comes down to 545 euros excluding taxes, while in 8 GB / 256 GB, it takes 585 euros. Finally, the most muscular version, the 12 GB / 512 GB, comes down to 630 euros excluding tax after conversion. These prices remain approximate to this day, and we will have to wait for the announcement of the arrival of the realme GT 2 Pro in Europe to see a little more clearly.
