L’Alienware AW3423DW, that’s his name, is a curved screen 1800R in 21: 9 which embeds a QD-OLED panel. A promise that promises to be ambitious.
One of the strengths of this screen is in the technology Quantum Dot Display, which offers high performance in terms of colors, brightness and contrast, while taking advantage of a very thin panel which contributes to the design of the whole. The Alienware AW3423DW is intended for cover 99.3% of the color space of DCI-P3 digital cinema. The maximum advertised brightness is 1000 nits and the contrast ratio is infinite. The screen also meets the certification VESA DisplayHDR TrueBlack 400. Enough to complete an already promising picture, but the instructor does not stop there.
DELL’s curved screen also responds to the Nvidia G-Sync Ultimate certification : this means that it is equipped with a high performance Nvidia G-Sync processor. Its gray-to-gray response time is 0.1 ms. As for the refresh rate, it goes up up to 175 Hz in 3440 x 1400 pixels via a DisplayPort connection, and up to 100 Hz in the same definition in HDMI. The viewing angle is 178 ° both horizontally and vertically.

For now, DELL has not communicated the price of this monitor, which will be sold in Europe from April 5, 2024. Its price in euros should be unveiled a few weeks before this date.
