Announced in May 2024, V Rising is a new game from the developers of Battlerite Royale. If the latter is a moba (like LoL) to which it integrates battle royale mechanics, V Rising is totally different. To magnify the line, we can say (with a BIG shortcut) that Battlerite comes from the mix between Fortnite and LoL where V Rising would have as parents Valheim and Diablo.
In a Victorian universe reminiscent of Castlevania on Netflix, the player embodies a vampire who came out of the earth in search of blood and resources. He will have to set up his castle and protect himself from enemy assaults, while building alliances with other vampires to plunder villages, bandits and supernatural monsters.
In May, at the time of the announcement, the game’s marketing director of the studio had declared that it wanted to provide “the full vampire experience“to the players. A promise that seems to be kept since a day / night cycle has been put in place: beware of the more daring who would dare to face the light rays on pain of melting like snow in the sun..
A concept that seems to appeal to a lot of players around the world, as evidenced by the many views listed in their gameplay videos. For the more curious, know that different closed beta phases will take place next year. The premiere ended recently, but Stunlock Studios is planning an upcoming beta for the first quarter of 2024. For the moment, V Rising is only expected on PC at an as yet unknown date.
