And let’s start at the end if you don’t mind. In 10th and 7th position, we find respectively s1mple and Fallen. Both are Counter-Strike: Global Offensive players. Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev, Ukrainian by nationality, belongs to the team Natus Vincere and is quite simply considered the best player around. This year, he hooked three titles to his prize list including the Stockholm major during which he was elected best player of the competition. Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo meanwhile is a Brazilian player belonging to the structure Team Liquid… this one having lost against Natus Vincere during the last prestigious tournament of the year.
But CS: GO is not the only FPS to make its stars shine: Valorant from Riot Game is no slouch at this level. Indeed, it is Mixwell and TenZ who respectively take the eighth and ninth places in this ranking. Oscar “mixwell” Cañellas Colocho and Tyson “TenZ” Ngo are two former professional CS: GO players. And finally, the podium was stormed by three Fortnite players. More content creators than professional players, Montgraal, Bugha and benjyfishy take 1st, 2nd and 3rd place respectively in this ranking. Younger than the other members of this top, the three influencers probably benefited from their more active community on social networks. Note, Bugha is currently the only Fortnite world champion : indeed, the health crisis saw Epic Games cancel the events. We can therefore consider that Bugha is also surfing on this success.
