The first major update for Farming Simulator 22 is finally here, and it didn’t come empty-handed! GIANTS Software is spoiling its fans with the addition of 16 new machines as well as new brands, and even a return expected by the players: the Case IH Steiger Series.
So we rediscover the Case IH Steiger Quadtrac and its 692 horsepower, but also novelties like the Case IH Steiger Rowtrac and the Case IH Steiger Wheeled. Among the brands entering the license, we find the American manufacturer ABI Attachments, Danish Kongskilde Agriculture, but also Dutch Vervaet. If you are interested in these new brands, do not hesitate to take a look at the list of machines added for free with patch 1.2:
In addition to these new equipment additions, patch 1.2 brings many improvements and even new features aimed at enriching the gaming experience. Among them, we find new placeable elements like the mobile home or the old barn, and even additional information about fields like potential return and recommended tools to get rid of weeds.
Other elements of the game have also been adjusted, such as repair costs, seed rate when sowing grass, and seed drill markers which will no longer lift stones. Important bugs have been fixed, in particular an issue with the Big Bag lifting tool crashing the game completely, but also a problem with the manure which required players to use the Manure Pile Extension instead of this one.
Finally, the developers mention some bugs that have not yet been fixed but which will likely be the subject of a future update, such as visual glitches, backup issues, and random crash instances.
