World championships over, transfer window closed… League of Legends launched the 2024 season of its competition last week. A competition that begins with the Spring Split for each Championship. In this article, we are mainly interested in the beginnings of the French championship and those of the European championship, respectively called LFL (French League of LoL) and LEC (LoL European Championship, or European Championship of LoL). And first of all, it’s the LFL that we’re concerned about. It takes place on Wednesday and Thursday and pits ten teams against each other. Launched last week, the LFL got off to a flying start, thanks in particular to Rekkles. The Swedish player is an icon of LoL, often considered one of the best European players in the history of the game, and joined the French team of Karmine Corp. A transfer synonymous with a thunderclap, of which we were able to measure the first fruits: mixed results, since Rekkles and Karmine Corp finished fifth during this first week with a victory against Premier Misfits but a defeat garnered against Mirage Elyandra. A second day that is contemplated with the glass half full, since it was on this occasion that the KCorp exceeded 200,000 viewers on Twitch, surpassing its last record. Continuation of the competition next Wednesday.

LFL – First week results

On the European side, it’s the French team vitality which looks gray. The LEC started last week and Vitality lost in all three matches: once against MAD Lions, then against fnatic and finally against Excel Esports yesterday. A surprise debacle in view of the players hired by the team. Despite everything, we can note the performance of some French people this weekend. Nuclearint and Adam both play under the flag of BDS, who snatched a win over Excel Esports on Saturday. But it is the French Vetheo who is best positioned. His team, Misfits Gaming, lost only one of his matches: it was against Snape, the current first in the league. Continuation of the competition next Friday.
