If you regularly play Animal Crossing: New Horizons or are active on social media, You probably did not miss a rather annoying bug that caused villagers to undress when they visited community locations in the Happy Home Paradise DLC. It is this bug that is the subject of one of the main fixes of the patch released on December 15th. Normally if you have updated your game, you should no longer encounter naked fluff in your cafes and restaurants.
Some display bugs have been fixed, especially in the DIY recipe catalog, and a novelty concerning gyroids has been added discreetly. Indeed, it would seem that we can now randomly find fragments of gyroids on our beaches, like bottles in the sea:

So far, fragments of gyroids appeared only buried in the soil of the mystery islands of Admiral or on your island after a day of rain or snow. Nintendo seems to have taken the initiative to facilitate access to these small statuettes so that players who were struggling to find the 36 different types of gyroids can finally finish their collection. The developers do not explicitly mention this addition in the patchnotes, which remain rather vague when they speak of “making the game more enjoyable”:
