The header video corresponds to the first Elden Ring gameplay trailer. It was released during the Summer Game Festival, an introductory event at E3. It was during this festival that the title of From Software was dated, before being postponed.
If we told you this morning about the potential weight of Horizon: Forbidden West when it was released, PlayStation Game Size had already put its hands in yesterday by digging into the data concerning the volume of Elden Ring:
🚨 ELDEN RING ™ (PS5)
▶ ️ Download Size: 44.472 GB (Without Day One Patch)
🟩 Pre-Load: February 23
🟫 Launch: February 25🟨 # PS5 #ELDENRING

Elden Ring would weigh around 45 GB, without a possible patch on the day of the release which would weigh down the thing. For comparison, the majority of FromSoftware games don’t go the distance: Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice was asking about 13 GB, while the disc installation of Dark Souls III requires 19 GB. Only Demon’s Souls, optimized for PlayStation 5, does better with its 66 GB. PlayStation Game Size also mentions that a pre-load will be available on February 23, two days before the release of the game From Software.
As for Horizon: Forbidden West and its 96 GB, the weight communicated by PlayStation Game Size is to be taken with a grain of salt and we will have to wait for an official announcement from Bandai Namco or From Software to confirm this.
While waiting for new information concerning Elden Ring, we can always wait with the many gameplay videos already available of the game. During the month of November, the entire press was able to play From Software’s next game for about ten hours while the lucky ones were able to participate in closed beta sessions. Elden Ring is scheduled for February 25 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series and Xbox One.
