Ubisoft Introduced us to the future of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla by showing us a video on future DLC to come. After Wrath of the Druids and The Siege of Paris as well as various novelties, such as seasonal festivals, the software of the French publisher has not said its last word. Yes, Ubisoft continues to support its staple game by delivering fan-friendly content in the near future. In this video, we’re going to tell you about two upcoming expansions that each feature their own unique characters, stories, and events.
The first extension is called Dawn of Ragnarök and keep digging the mythological aspect of the saga. Developed by Ubisoft Sofia to whom we owe the DLC The Curse of the Pharaohs from Assassin’s Creed Origins, she asks the player to save Baldr, Odin’s son. The journey will take the heroes to a kingdom ravaged by a war that has forced the dwarves to hide in secret shelters. The main mission will be to find them in order to benefit from their knowledge. They should make it possible to find Odin’s son more easily.
According to Ubisoft, Dawn of Ragnarök is the most ambitious expansion ever made for an Assassin’s Creed. She should offer more 35 hours of play, new protagonists and a great kingdom to explore which will sometimes require you to rack your brains thanks to puzzles. In this quest, players will face Jötnars, enemies of ice, as well as Muspels, namely opponents of fire. Ubisoft informs us that the Flame Keepers will have the power to resuscitate fallen enemies. The fact that these opponents are numerous makes the direct confrontation less strategic, it will therefore be necessary to analyze the situation well before going into combat. The player can play as a crow to carry out spectacular assassinations from the skies. It will also have the ability to create ice weapons and he can teleport using bow arrows. Players in need of action will also be able to participate in arena clashes on the occasion of the Valkyries’ challenge.
The famous series ofUbisoft who started with Altaïr and which today features Eivor proposed to play a whole bunch of characters during different historical periods. And surprisingly, the fourth expansion of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will allow current heroes to meet former protagonists of the saga. The name of the extension is called Assassin’s Creed Crossover Stories and she is the fruit a collaboration between Ubisoft Quebec and Ubisoft Montreal. In the video released, for example we saw Kassandra fromAssassin’s Creed Odyssey get off the hook with Eivor. Entitled Assassin’s Creed Crossover Stories, this extension will have two different versions. A playable in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, and another in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. The idea behind this crossover is to answer two questions: what does Kassandra do with her immortality, and what happens when two heroes from Assassin’s Creed meet.
You don’t have to wait very long to play these DLCs.
The adventures of Assassin’s Creed Crossover Stories can be played starting December 14, 2024. The content is free for those who own the base games.
