A game that disappointed, the fault of its technical bugs, a gameplay that is not renewed or the lack of visibility in the action, often problematic for games in first person view, a report made by the press on Metacritic, whose average score is 49/100.
Demon Skin is a game developed by Ludus Future, and published by Buka Entertainment. Like Diablo, Path of Exile or Lost Ark, the game is set in a dark-fantasy universe and offers hack’n’slash gameplay with RPG mechanics but in 2D. And this without counting the countless bugs that include Arkham Horror.
This is the last game in this ranking to have inherited an average of 48/100: I Saw Black Clouds is an interactive film directed by Ghost Dog Films, a low-budget psychological thriller-style feature film. Among the ratings found on metacritic, we can read that the title is inconsistent, shallow, and does nothing new compared to films with Stephen Bladwin (Usual Suspects) or Tara Reid (The Big Lebowski).
And yes: as you might expect, Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition is part of this top. The Switch version of the game is ranked sixth, with an average of 47/100 listed on metacritic. A finding that JV observed in its Gaming-Live Test when the game was released. Clipping, aliasing, lower framerate and lower graphics … Without being unplayable, Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition on Switch does not offer the best experience it is possible to have.

With Of Bird and Cage in fifth in this ranking, the critics suddenly started to be more bitter. With an average of 44/100 on metacritic, the interactive film obviously does not do the ears good. Of Bird and Cage is actually a metal album presented as a two hour feature film. And that doesn’t work for GameCritics, who are wondering how the game came to be released as is today.
Taxi Chaos is a game developed by Team6 Game Studios and published by Lion Castle Entertainment. The title is fourth in this ranking with a 42/100. Critics all regard the title as a bad copy of SEGA’s Crazy Taxi. The hardest on the title is written by CD-Action: The media writes that Taxi Chaos is a shameless copy of Crazy Taxi, made by devs without creativity and who did not understand why the title it was inspired by was so good.
Rated 42/100 (8.4 / 20), Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood did not have the same success with JV. The action-RPG game where players play as a werewolf “fails in everything he does, whether technically, playfully or narrativelyThe extremely dated technique and basic artificial intelligence also contributed to the bad impression of the title, shared by many media who tested the game.

Also released on PS5 (where it is doing better with an average of 51/100), Balan Wonderworld did not pass the Switch test with an average of 36/100. Although overseen by Sonic’s dad, the 3D platformer crumbles. The fault of a technique and a capricious camera, poor gameplay and absent originality. The graphics in warm colors do not manage to keep the balance of Yuji Naka’s software.

We can only welcome Konami’s willingness to move forward and look for initiatives to try, at least, to trip Electronic Arts and its tyrannical FIFA. But sometimes you have to face the facts: it doesn’t always work. It is obviously eFootball 2024 in question since it recovers the first place of the worst games of the year. The average rating on Metacritic is 25/100, while the 26,000 ratings on Steam are in the aggregate extremely negative. If eFootball 2024 has become free, the successor to PES has launched with many bugs, strong technical shortcomings and player models that would pass those of the previous games for the new generation. In short, a disaster for Konami.
