Jujutsu Kaisen: first gameplay images for the video game adapted from the manga phenomenon

The header video corresponds to the first trailer for the game, released on December 20, 2024.

Already announced in June, the game Jujutsu Kaisen: Phantom Parade clarifies things. Published on Monday, the combined editions of issues three and four of the Weekly Shônen Jump announced that the game will be released on iOS and Android in 2024. Small problem, it is only in Japan that the game is currently scheduled since pre-registrations for the title have started on the archipelago, which suggests an upcoming exit.

It was also last Monday that a first trailer was released for Jujutsu Kaisen: Phantom Parade. We see a short gameplay sequence but sufficiently rich in information: the game seems to resume the universe of Gege Akutami’s manga since well-known characters from the saga appear. We see Itadori, Megumi, but also Kugisaki and Gojo. On the gameplay side, it seems that the game takes place on a turn-based basis with gatcha mechanics.

Unfortunately, no information has been released regarding a Phantom Parade release in France. To hope, we will take the manga Demon Slayer as an example: a first video game adaptation has appeared in Japan, before seeing Hinokami Chronicles land with us at the end of the year.

In all cases, it will take patience. That’s good, the manga of Jujutsu kaisen are still in the process of being released, the movie Jujutsu Kaisen 0 is due in Japanese theaters on December 24, and season 2 of the animated adaptation is slated for release in 2024.
